FJD devaluation catalyst for 35 per cent cut in Blue Lagoon cruise pricing

16 April 2009 Hot on the heels of the Fiji Reserve Banks decision to devalue the FJD by 20 per cent, iconic Blue Lagoon Cruises has become the first Fiji operator to release new pricing for its Yasawa Island cruises.

The boutique cruise specialist has combined an existing 15 per cent discount with the new 20 per cent devaluation to offer what now represents a huge 35 per cent cut in prices.

This means pricing for a four-day/three night Gold Club cruise now starts from USD1339* per person twin share.

The 35 per cent discount, which also includes a free cabin upgrade, applies to all cruises booked from now until 30 June 2009 with travel extended until 31 March 2010.

The special pricing also applies to the cruise operators three-day/two-night and four-day/three-night Club cruises and the seven-day/six-night Gold Club program, prices for which are available on application.

All Blue Lagoon cruises programs include all meals and cruise activities which range from daily shore excursions and snorkeling safaris to fish feeding, fishing and glass bottom boating.

Cultural experiences include a Lovo feast, visits to remote villages, Kava ceremonies and a day spent at Blue Lagoon Cruises private island of Nanuya Lailai.
